The infamous bartender Douglas Ankrah invented this vodka cocktail behind the bar at The Townhouse Bar in Knightsbridge, London in the early 2000’s.

COSMO 

Components: Citrus vodka, Orange Liqueur, Fresh Lime, and Cranberry
Origin: Miami, Florida

Although it’s roots stem from Miami, it was popularized by legendary barman Dale Degroff of the Rainbow Room in New York City where he served them up to Madonna after the 1997 grammy awards.

FRENCH 

Components – Chambord, Vanilla Vodka, and Fresh Pineapple
Origin – New York City, New York

This beautiful cocktail was invented in the 1980’s at one of Keith McNally’s New York City bars and it next appeared on the drink menu at his now famous Balthazar in SoHo.

ESPRESSO 

Components: Vodka, Kahlua, Espresso, Vanilla Syrup
Origin: London, England

Invented by Dick Bradsell back in 1983 during his tenure at the Soho Brasserie. Legend has it that a young, future supermodel came up to the bar and asked Dick to make her a cocktail with coffee that would wake her up.
